From the Quarantine

So much free time. When I retired, I organized my life around this new work of writing and a collection of my most fun things to do: live music, movies, baseball, long drives. Well, so much for all that fun stuff. As I am older with a family history of heart disease, I will be one of the last ones to escape the quarantine. This week, my big excitement is a masked haircut. Now, I look pretty much like the shaggy kid in college that haunts old pictures, well, with a few more pounds on the bones.

But in the quiet, the new book is taking shape. I have heard from my betas and have a day in July for the work to go to my editor, so I am on deadline busily rewriting which I always enjoy.

Stay safe. Wear your mask. JHB
