Hooray! The New Book is Ready

I completed two cycles with the proof copy and am now happy with the final product. I think the cover is very cool. People who know Portland will know where the photo was taken. Well, let's see if anyone figures out why the picture is a little strange.

My wife had surgery and is now recovering at home. It has been a stressful few weeks. I worked on the final book during quiet times. It was actually a relief to have something completely different for me to shift my mood and focus.

As my Grandma Blackwood would say, "Lord will'n and the creek don't rise" I will release "24 Directions at Once: Dispatches from the COVID-19 Lockdown" on October 17. Can't wait for people to read this very different collection of essays written during the pandemic.
